The following is just an overview of available benefits. A Human Resources Representative could assist you with any further questions or detail.

HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance is offered Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees (of at least 20 hours per week). Insurance premium costs are shared by the employee and Alverno. Alverno's network provider is Sagamore Health Network and CCN.

DENTAL INSURANCE
Dental insurance is offered Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees (of at least 20 hours per week). Insurance premium costs are shared by the employee and Alverno. Employees may obtain dental services through any dental office.

VISION INSURANCE
Vision insurance is offered Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees (of at least 20 hours per week). Insurance premium costs are shared by the employee and Alverno. Alverno's network provider is VSP.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
A benefit for vacation, holiday, short-term sick time, and personal time accrues based on status of employment and length of service. Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees begin earning PTO upon hire.

DISABILITY INSURANCE
Short- and long-term disability insurance is provided to Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees at no cost to the employee.

LIFE INSURANCE
Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees are provided with life insurance coverage at one time their annual base salary at no cost. Appropriate waiting period does apply.

Optional life insurance coverage is also made available at group rates.

RETIREMENT PROGRAM
Our Retirement Program offers both a Pension Plan and a Tax Sheltered Annuity program.

The Pension Plan (Retirement Security Account) is established for employees after one year of service. The Retirement Program provides benefits that meet the needs of our employees by offering an account-based benefit that grows over time, or a monthly benefit based on your pay and service, or a minimum monthly benefit, whichever provides the highest amount. Employees are fully vested after five years.

In our 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity (TSA) program, employees are eligible to contribute a portion of their earnings pretax immediately upon hire. It offers flexible saving and investing opportunities through the TSA feature of the program. After one year of service, employees become eligible for matching employer contributions.
